The second concert in this season of Bach in the Dark performances will be held on Sunday 26th June at 2.30 at the St John's Hall, Robertson.
Rachel Scott studied with David Pereira in Canberra and Robert Cohen in London. She has played as a soloist and chamber musician in the United Kingdom, Serbia, Albania, Finland, Hungary and Germany. When she’s not performing, Rachel teaches for the Australian Children’s Music Foundation and Mary McKillop East Timor Mission, teaching and mentoring music programmes for the disadvantaged – this takes her to all sorts of places – country schools, Sydney schools, behavioural schools, and schools in Timor. Rachel plays on an English cello, made in 1749, called Harold. More information on both her and Harold, and news of upcoming performances, can be found at her website. www.bachinthedark.com
